Charlie Goodall was airlifted to hospital but died shortly after arrival

A mother has been charged with causing or allowing the death of her baby who was found unresponsive in a bath.

Seven-month-old Charlie Goodall was found in a house in Chilton, County Durham, on 16 February 2022.

He was airlifted to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary but died shortly after arrival.

Danielle Massey, 31, who has also been charged with possession of cannabis, is due before Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
